Conscious Content Creation—Reclaiming the Written Word

When was the last time you felt a sense of expansion and wonder while browsing online articles online or web-surfing.

We are inundated with opinions, narratives and marketing notices that create unending desires to consuming.
Yet, we are hungry.

My path to reclaiming the written word is to slow down the creation process, utilize my entire body and breath to channel words and sentiment. I think of readers—pressures of their day, piles of unread emails and unopened notifications, news of doom and difficulty. Lost are the words of connection, remembrance and permission to just be.

Reclaiming the written word—whether digitally or in print—is also about reclaiming choice in what we consume and create.

I've recently started creating content campaigns for locally run, independent business in my neighbourhood of Queen West, Toronto.

It's collaborative.

It's fun.

It's a new way with words and intent for me and for these businesses.
